I came up with the idea for Whatever It Takes Sports in 2008 when I was reading a book about leadership. It was talking about how the best leaders get things done by doing whatever it takes. At that time my slow pitch softball season was in full swing and that's when it hit me. If you want to be the best at anything you do, you need to put everything you have into it, do WHATEVER IT TAKES!
For about ten years I had been working on a baseball/softball training bat called the PSS Rocket. It's a reduced diameter barrel bat used to hit wiffle golf balls to work on your hand eye coordination. I had made a few prototypes and had been toying with some ideas to improve it but I could never seem to get it just the way I wanted. In the winter of 2012 I finally did it. I had gotten the bat to a point where I felt that it was ready. I got quotes on the material, the paint, the decals and all of the other items that I was going to need to take the PSS Rocket to market. I knew right then that I had made the right choice on the name of my company. I was going to have to do whatever it took to make my training bat a success!
My goal at Whatever It Takes Sports is to offer equipment and advise to men, women and children that help them succeed in any sport they participate in. From baseball to hunting, I want to help everyone be the best they can be!
